How do you know its this Unid item? - Guild Wars Forums

I am wondering, someone is selling a superioud vigor rune unid.

However, what happends if you unid and its a minor vigor rune, dont you get scam?!

They salvage the rune before it's identified. Also, please read your post to make sure it makes sense.

but was pretty **** When you get armor that you know has a rune in it you can do two things with it. 1. You can id there-by finding out what it is and you can salvage it later to get the rune out of it. 2. (in this guys case) you can first salvage it and it will show you what profession the rune is and if it's minor major or superior just from the graphic alone. In the case of a vigor rune there is only 1 graohic so if it shows a superior you will know it's a superior vigor rune, in other words you will actually see a ruperior vigor rune, the only difference is it's still not id'd. Leaving it open to trade and let another person unlock it.
